Funding Awarded: $130 Million for the Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships (GRIP) Program
Liebman & Associates, Inc. is supporting several applications for the GRIP program to improve and modernize the nation’s electric grid substantially. Concept papers for topics 1 and 2 are due by December 16, 2022, and concept papers for topic 3 are due by January 13, 2023. Due dates for complete applications range from March 2023 through May 2023, depending on the topic area number.

Group14 Technologies Awarded $100 Million by the US Department of Energy
Liebman & Associates, Inc., is pleased to announce that its long-standing client, Group14 Technologies, won a $100 million grant for a next-generation silicon-carbon composite to displace graphite in lithium-ion battery (LIB) anodes.
$1Billion Awarded for Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs
The Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs program – or H2Hubs – includes up to $7 billion to establish six to ten regional clean hydrogen hubs across America. Liebman & Associates, Inc. is honored to support H2Hubs applications from a number of the nation’s largest and most progressive utilities across different regions of the country.
Funding Awarded: $20.9 Million for Advanced Industrial Facilities Deployment Program
The Department of Energy will coordinate Inflation Reduction Act funds for an Advanced Industrial Facilities Deployment Program. This will help industrial facilities retrofit, upgrade, or install industrial technologies and produce low-carbon materials.
The Advanced Industrial Facilities Deployment Program will be administered by the newly-created Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED). Liebman & Associates, Inc. is assisting clients with applications for this historic opportunity.
